Yes. Thanks to donors, CAST chapters, and institutional partners, the Navigator Certification is completely free for youth ages 12–25.
Not at all. This program is designed for all experience levels—from beginners to tech-savvy students.
No. Anyone can become a Navigator. But many Navigators join CAST after earning their certification.
You only need one if you are part of a CAST Affiliate or Chapter. Independent Navigators don’t require an advisor.
Most Navigators complete it in 4–6 hours.
Absolutely. The Navigator Certification demonstrates leadership, public service, and emerging technical literacy.
